Engineering - Dayton, Ohio
Director
of Operations (1992-1994)

Jones served in the capacity of Director of Operations for an organization
of fifty (50) people with two (2) offices. He was responsible for
the daily operations of the company: Supervising the surveying and
engineering departments, marketing and developing the overall business
strategies.
He
was hired to help rebuild an old line company that was faltering due to
the lack of any type of ownership transition. This had caused the
company's clientele to diminish due to lack of service.
Also
due to the absence of growth incentives, the caliber of the staff
proved to be substandard when compared to the other local firms and projects
available. After twelve (12) months, a new client base began
emerging in addition to the infusion of new experienced personal.
Company standards were upgraded so all design work was computer generated
instead of the original manual method.
