Senior Project Manager (1997-present)

 

Responsible for the chemical process design for water and wastewater treatment plants.  He is also responsible for preparation of the project time line reports.  In addition his responsibilities encompass industrial waste client marketing.  Recently responsible for full design for tow 2500 gpm well pumps that need to pump a static head of over 300' in a 24" class 53 ductile iron water main for the City of Springboro, Ohio.  Also, designed Well #1 (1500GPM vertical turbine), and Wells #2 and #3 (submersible 1000 GPM) for the City of Springboro, Ohio.

 

Other projects he has designed recently are 18,000' of storm sewer in New Jasper Township in Greene County, Ohio and a booster pump design for the Village of Waynesville, Ohio.

Programmatic responsibility for schedule development, statusing and schedule enforcement.  Interfacing with the customers, updating, reporting and making presentations.  Performing public relations and presenting information seminars.  Instructor, team leader and facilitator using Kepner Tregoe PSDM techniques.  Instructor, team leader and facilitator using Root Cause techniques in solving problems.  Very well versed in meeting dynamics.

 

Unit Manager Heat Source Assembly (1993-1995)

 

Supervise two engineers and nine technicians for the assembly of radioactive components into modules to produce electricity.  Develop personnel to work as effective team members.  Prepare budgets and schedules.  A member of the Mound Lead Laboratory, Material Review Board.  Root Cause Instructor.  Facilitate: Section's planning and scheduling meetings, 5000.3B investigations and Total Quality task groups.

 

Senior Chemical Engineer, Advanced Materials and Surface Modification (1984-1993)

 

Design and develop processes for the manufacture of specialized carbon foams.  Process and equipment designs for utilizing supercritical CO2 as a solvent replacement.  Supervise technicians.

 

Senior Tester design Engineer, Tester Design Fabrication and Maintenance (1984-1993)

 

Project/design assigned to multi-million dollar program.  Responsibilities included electronic design, fabrication and software development for a multi-computer controlled sequencer with high speed data acquisition capability.  Coordinated activities of technicians activities with internal departments and outside design agencies.

Performed electro-chemical analysis.  Developed method for determining carbon content in tritiated samples.  Performed a variety of process engineering functions.  Overall project management including design, procurement and fabrication for a variety of in-house computer controlled test systems.
