Water Wells Number 4 and 5

This project involved the design and inspection of two well pumps, controls and appurtenances for two 30" wells for the City of Springboro.  The wells were built to supply water to the new water treatment plant a mile away.  The elevation differential was a plus 300'.  The wells pumped into a new 24' ductile iron water line.  The pumps were submersible with pitless adaptors.  Both pumps were 250 HP capable of pumping 2500 GPM.  A small control house was also built to house the instrumentation.
