The creek that meanders through the project has eroded away the soil and exposed a sanitary manhole.  Without the soils protection, County Engineers were in fear of the manhole falling over.  A Gabion wall has been constructed to protect the manhole and dissipate some of the creeks energy thus cutting down on the erosion.
