To provide the Village of Lynchburg with a new
250 thousand gallon above ground storage system and remove the 100
thousand gallon system. (Click on each picture for a closer look.)
1. Jim Jones, Village Engineer, along with Angel
Balon, Village Clerk, review Bid Opening documents for the project.
2. Existing water tower has 100 thousand gallon
capacity, is very old and badly in need of repair.
3. Foundation footer - 5 were required and one to
support the downcomer.
4. Altitude valve install at base of tower.
5. New tower on Sunday, first section of 5 legs
installed with downcomer.
6. New tower as it looked on that Friday evening, with
250 thousand gallons of storage capacity.
